Remember those cool new Sheep patterns that we showed you earlier today? Well, it looks like they have already arrived in the world of virtual farming! Let’s go get started.
Step 1: By logging into FarmVille tonight, you will be greeted by the above image. If you have not previously set a Sheep Pen down on whichever farm you are on, you will be given the basic frame to do so. You’ll need the usual mix of ten Boards, ten Bricks, and ten Nails to do the job. Once finish, go “Look Inside” your Sheep Pen.
Step 2: It works exactly like Sheep Breeding in the past but with the new intricate interface of the Pigpen, as you will use Love Potions to increase the chance of success. You will use the Sheep Pen identically to the Pigpen from here on out. The pop-ups go on to explain that the father and mother dictate the colors, while the father alone has the baby’s patterns.
Step 3: Breed as you normally would! This Sheep Breeding update is not absurdly different from the old Sheep Breeding methods, so get those Ewes and Rams to work! The more successful Lambs you create, the more Breeding XP you will receive. You will even get 3 extra XP for successfully giving away Sheep to your neighbors, or for adopting some of your neighbors’ Lambs. Helping others will definitely help you.
You can click on the “Progress” bar once you’re in the “Look Inside” screen to see how far you are from unlocking the new patterns. Here are all of the new patterns and what level you need to be before you can unlock them:
Level 5: Tiger Ram
Level 10: Flower Ram
Level 15: Racing Stripes Rams
Level 20: Heart Ram
Level 25: Checker Ram
Level 30: Zig Zag Ram (though it looks as if the image is showing the Tiger Ram)
